About the Chris Burns Golf Classic

The Chris Burns Golf Classic is a Premier Golf event and serves as the major fundraiser for The Chris and Patricia Burns Junior Golf Foundation. Each year, over 150 golfers gather at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club to support the foundation by participating in the scramble tournament, sponsoring some part of the event, or attending the Benefit Dinner ("Kickoff Cocktail Reception") which is always held on the Sunday night before the tournament.

100% of the proceeds go directly back into our local Junior Golf community. We give back in many different ways including but not limited to:

Sponsoring Equipment
Teaching Golf in Elementary PE
Donating to High School Golf Programs

We go above and beyond to make this a very special event. You will find several stations setup on the course for refreshments and prizes. The golf course itself is consistently ranked in the top 5 courses in Alabama. If you attend the Kickoff Cocktail Reception, you are sure to enjoy the Silent Auction, Live Music, and Socializing.

Presenting Sponsor Golf

You will have naming rights on all event marketing and signage. Verbal recognition at cocktail reception and both shotgun starts. Premium logo placement on event banner and sponsor board. You can go ahead and pre-pay your team’s mulligan package and SAVE 20%. The package includes Team Mulligans, entry into the driving contest for FREE, and entry into the on-course contest for FREE. The on-course contest is TBD.
